Hosted by the Council of Europe, the Strasbourg World Forum for Democracy is an annual gathering of government leaders, opinion-makers, civil society activists, representatives of business, academia, media and professional groups to debate key challenges for democracies worldwide. Mr. Rifkin gave the keynote address alongside Matteo Renzi, Prime Minister of Italy, and Francois Hollande, President of France.
